Gwen McClure is a journalist based in Auckland, New Zealand. She produces long-form and daily segments for a nightly current affairs program called The Project (TV Three) as well as writing feature articles and producing videos for a variety of publications. Primarily her work focuses on human stories relating to social justice, the justice system and health and has appeared in publications including Marie Claire Australia and France, VICE NZ, Foreign Affairs, AJ+, Al Jazeera America, Hakai Magazine, Fusion, British Journal of Photography, Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, InStyle, Travel + Leisure, Woman’s Day, and a number of others.

Gwen previously worked as a communications consultant for clients including the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Global Health Strategies.

She has a Master of Arts in Journalism from City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, where she concentrated in international reporting, and has worked in Auckland, New York City and Johannesburg.
